Version One launches DbAuthorise Mobile for invoice approval 'on the move'

Document management and imaging software author, Version One, announces the launch of DbAuthorise Mobile, the latest edition to its document management and imaging software portfolio.

DbAuthorise Mobile is Version One's new mobile invoice authorisation solution, which extends the use of Version One's DbAuthorise. This new module allows users to instantly authorise, reject or query imaged supplier invoices from any email enabled Smartphone or tablet, including Blackberrys, iPhones, iPads and Androids.

Managers are able to approve invoices 'on the move' using DbAuthorise Mobile, improving productivity and streamlining invoice processing efficiency. By enhancing invoice processing efficiency, the finance team has greater control over paying suppliers and are more able to take advantage of prompt payment discounts whilst avoiding potential late payment penalties.

Using DbAuthorise Mobile, each time there is an imaged supplier invoice for approval within DbAuthorise, the relevant approvers receive email notifications to their email enabled devices. Each email contains three different links, giving the option to approve, reject or query the invoice. Once the approver has clicked on the relevant link within the email, a message is instantly sent to DbAuthorise, where the invoice is dealt with accordingly.
