We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate our business partner BlackLine on its recent initial public offering. On Friday 28th October 2016, BlackLine opened at 24.52 on the stock market, up 44% from its IPO price.
We have been partnering with BlackLine since 2014 to provide the enhanced finance controls and automation solution suite, which helps organisations streamline financial close operations. According to reports, BlackLine CEO Therese Tucker is the first woman CEO to lead a venture-capital-backed startup company to an IPO. Therese controls about 16% of shares, while investment group Iconiq, backed by Facebook founder and Chief Executive Mark Zuckerberg, controls about 23% of shares, and Silver Lake Sumeru holds 47%.
This is fantastic news for BlackLine, having achieved significant revenue growth in recent periods. We look forward to continuing to work with BlackLine to help companies switch to Continuous Accounting and achieve Modern Finance status.
