The Infor SunSystems Cloud October 2026 release is packed full of innovative technology platform updates and functional enhancements, which we are delighted to share with you in this short overview. The October 2026 release takes reporting and document management to the next level, combining smarter insights and connected content with an expanded range of dashboards and more powerful integration tools. Here is a brief rundown of some of the key features and functionality to look out for in the October 2026 release:
Key Release Highlights:
-
New Dashboards: new dashboards provide a shift focus to age receivable tracking, as well as high-level CFO dashboards. There is a variety of SunSystems Cloud specific widgets, for example a Working Capital widget. This widget monitors whether short-term assets are sufficient to cover short-term liabilities. It also identifies changes in liquidity and working capital over time.
-
Infor Query & Analysis (Q&A) Cloud Enhancements: we see the reintroduction of the Q&A macro builder for Microsoft Excel. This is a feature within the Q&A Excel add-in that enables you to automate reporting tasks without writing complex VBA code from scratch.
- Infor Q&A Integration with Infor Document Management (IDM): there is now seamless integration between Q&A, SunSystems Cloud and IDM, built directly into the Q&A interface for a faster, simpler experience. Users are able to auto-save Q&A workbooks directly into IDM.
- Platform Updates: the release introduces Microsoft Intune support, helping to protect sensitive financial data, alongside a major expansion of native APIs and Business Object Documents (BODs). Enhanced API capabilities make data flows faster, simpler and more connected. This reduces manual workarounds, streamlines bulk data delivery and enables greater integration with Infor OS.
We see the delivery of three new BODs - Tax Accounts, Contacts and Payment Terms. The new BODs deliver faster, event-driven updates, providing more timely and connected data across business processes.
We also see some core enhancements to existing BODs and workflow architecture, further improving efficiency, flexibility and performance across the integration lifecycle. Business Unit and Person ID are now native attributes across all Infor ION process workflows, eliminating time-consuming workarounds and simplifying process automation.
Enhanced push table technology also enables faster, more reliable BOD publishing to Infor ION. Optimised for large, multi-business unit environments, it delivers improved performance and scalability when handling high volumes of data.
-
eInvoicing Expansion: the release adds eInvoicing support for more regional and country regulations, broadening global compliance coverage as mandates change worldwide.
