Eclipse is a service focussed organisation; we are not a product sales led organisation. Our goal is to establish long term mutually beneficial business relationships with all of our clients.
In order to achieve this, we work hard to understand our client's business, the challenges they face and their plans for the future. This means building relationships at all levels within the respective organisations with our director's, consulting, support and administrative staff.
As a result of this approach, our very first clients when the company was established in 1987, Volkswagen Finance International and Greenpeace International, are still working with us today, some 25 years on.
Eclipse does not employ commissioned sales people. Where an existing or prospective client has a business issue to resolve or a requirement that needs addressing, an Eclipse director will manage the process.
The approach we take is a consultative one. In order to ascertain whether Eclipse has the appropriate expertise/solutions to meet a client's need, we first need to fully understand the requirement. This is a standard part of our sales process and is carried out as a non-chargeable activity.
If during this process, we identify that Eclipse does not have the appropriate expertise or solution to meet the requirement, we will tell you immediately. At the same time, if we know of any solutions/organisations that could provide help, we are happy to pass this on.
With regard to the core business management solutions that we provide to our clients, we also use them internally to manage our own business operations. We believe that this approach, combined with our software implementation experience, enables us to understand from a user perspective, the pros, cons and challenges that our client's face when implementing these solutions.
